3 new sea scooter models were announced in 2021 : WhiteShark Tini from Sublue, Infinity Seascooter from Jobe and Jet Pod Pro from Yamaha Seascooters.

1. WhiteShark Tini:
Sublue who is also famous for the WhiteShark Mix and Mix Pro, recently released the newest version of its underwater scooter the WhiteShark Tini. Yes, you have guessed it, it is “Tiny”! Indeed, it has a small size of only 355x296x158mm and is very portable with a weight of 3 kg/ 6.61 lbs.
Key features:
Well other than its small size and weight, the Tini has a 98Wh lithium battery, which can be a huge plus for most air travelers. Moreover, the device can be comfortably used by left handed as well as right handed people, which is a big bonus considering that rarely lefties got remembered. In fact, the control handle can be placed on the left or on the right as you see fit. You can also control your device via a wireless controller! This controller can be used for example when attaching the Tini on the Inflatable kickboard for your kids to have an electric kickboard!
Let’s not forget that you can attach a floating module on your DPV for positive buoyancy or you can take it off depending on the use case. If you want to have more power, you can combine two units for a max speed of or 7.2 kmh/ 4.4 mph!
It goes without saying that the Tini has an action camera mount, but also a phone mount for more versatility!

2. Jobe Infinity Seascooter:
Jobe Sports is a water sports brand and manufacturing company based in the Netherlands. With the sea scooters hype, it is normal that such brands commercialize underwater scooters. In fact, Jobe’s first model is the Infinity sea scooter which was released in the beginning of 2021.
Key features:
The device is designed with 2 motors for propulsion, has a safety switch and 2 triggers to set it on. You can choose between 3 speeds for a max speed of 5 kmh/ 3.1 mph via a combination of pushes on the left and right triggers. Additionally, the Infinity has a 4 Led battery level indicator and an action camera mount which is an expected feature for an underwater scooter!
You can easily transport the sea scooter thanks to its size of 530 x 210 x 170mm and weight of 3.5 kg. Also, the battery is IATA compliant and can therefore be transported in a carry-on bag in most cases.
You can buy The Jobe Infinity Seascooter for €799.99 from online stores, however shipment is for now in Europe only. Moreover, the bundle contains 2 batteries, a waterproof bag and a snorkeling set (a mask and a snorkel).

3. Yamaha Jet Pod Pro:
As a subsidiary of the notorious Yamaha Motor company, Yamaha Seascooters has established itself as a strong player in the underwater scooters world. Since 2017, the company has created numerous models with the Jet Pod Pro as last born.
Key features:
Priced at $1095, the Jet Pod Pro belongs to Yamaha’s professional dive series.
It relies on a single motor for propulsion and has collapsible arms which allow for small size. A retractable rubber carry handle makes its transport easy.
The battery is a lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 144 Wh, with 5 LED indicators showing its level.
Considering the battery capacity inferior to 160 Wh and the Jet Pod’s small size, we can assume that you can transport it in carry-on luggage (with most airlines) when you take the plane!
You can expect to have in the box : the seascooter, one charger, a battery (costing $499 alone) and user manual.
